"They Were Deported": 6 Students Reportedly Asked to Leave Canada Over Immigration Offence

A lady claimed some students were sent packing from Canada after they violated immigration rules.

Gloria of Canada shared how the students reportedly applied for asylum, or what is popularly referred to in Canada as 'Aduro'.

She said the immigration laws forbid students from doing cash jobs since they were in the country to study.

In her TikTok video, Gloria said study visa applicants were often required to submit evidence that they could take care of themselves financially while in Canada.

She said it is a violation to leave studies and chase after cash jobs after submitting millions as proof of funds.

Gloria said a student she knows who came to study in Canada was also sent home after he went to 'chop aduro.'

She said in the comment section:

"They left school and went to claim asylum."

Speaking to Legit.ng, a scholarship and study abroad expert, Dr Olumuyiwa Igbalajobi confirmed that one could be deported if they seek asylum illegally. He insists that those applying for asylum must have genuine reasons.

He said:

"Asylum are meant for people in need of help. For those feeing their country due to war or persecution."

The lady advised international students to focus on their studies and obey the immigration rules to avoid misfortunes such as deportation.

Man deported from Canada
